Gathering, using and sharing data is critical to program improvement, accountability, and sustainability.
Engaging youth, families and the community in OST will improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods.
By working together we can leverage resources to better serve our youth.
Developing a shared, inclusive and coordinated OST system to help us reach ambitious goals on behalf of our young people.
How do we define OST?
We define OST broadly to embrace the diversity of expanded learning opportunities offered outside of the school day. This includes programming offered before school, after school, on weekends, during holidays and during the summer.
Who is Involved?
This new collaboration will align the various OST efforts of the Managing Director’s Office; the Department of Human Services; Parks & Recreation; the Free Library; the School District of Philadelphia; and other existing and potential stakeholders.
